Our Church
Unity Temple is a member of the Association of Unity Churches, a
spiritual organization that includes churches and centers worldwide and
is part of a "New Thought" tradition. Established over 100 years ago by
Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, of Kansas City, Missouri, Unity began as a
result of their personal healing through the power of prayer and
positive thought. They chose the name "Unity" to depict the essence of
Truth in all the world's religions. Unity is "mystical" Christianity
and welcomes people of all faiths.
Prayer, healing, prosperity, and joyful living are essential teachings presented in practical ways.
